1384 - Mon kingdom at the time of coronation of King Razadarit

In Burmese history, Forty Years War is not only depicted as a military conflict between Burmese Kingdom of the Ava and Mon Kingdom of Hanthawaddy (Bago), but also a theater of valorous heroes and crooked diplomacy. It all began with the ascension of the young, but valiant and vicious King Razadarit. At the time of his coronation, he was just 16 years old. His father domains had been confined to only one region of three traditional Mon power bases, namely Bago, Pathein(Cosmin), Martaban. Delta land had long been falled to the hands of Lord of Myaungmya while the rich coast of Ramanya was firmly controlled by Lord of Martaban. Those lords were brothers, once trusted lords of the court of Razadarit's father before they rebelled and reigned as independent rulers. It was the year 1384 when King Razadarit ascended to the throne, about to begin his reconquest of his father's long lost lands. However, that would ultimately invited other participants, leading to Great Forty Years War.
